Jamie Stone

Former beauty & fashion publicist/social media expert, turned blogger. After years of working on the PR and marketing side of things, I took my insider knowledge of the industry and started HonestlyJamie.com, where I use my former background to decipher which products really work and what’s just marketing magic, all of which my readers truly value.

Even though I’m a veteran beauty blogger, I still get excited when I find a new product that truly works and works WELL. A few current favorites:

Aquaphor Healing Ointment: This product is my go-to “fix anything” skincare product.

Chantecaille Rose de Mai Cream: Expensive, yes, but worth it? 100%. If you love the decadent scent of roses and hydrated skin, this moisturizer is the best.

Hourglass Opaque Rouge Liquid Lipstick in Riviera: I’m picky about my lip products since I tend to get dry lips, but this liquid lipstick is great because it doesn’t dry me out but still has a TON of pigment.

Neutrogena Makeup Removing Night Calming Cleansing Towelettes: Hands down one of the best makeup removing wipes on the market and inexpensive to boot.

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara: I LOVE this mascara. You get full-blown, voluminous lashes without the flaking.

Yes to Coconuts Cooling Lip Oil: I recently discovered this cooling lip oil and, since I mentioned my sometimes-dry lips, this has been a purse staple for me.

L’OREAL PARIS Infallible Silkissime Eyeliner in Gold: I’m really into metallic eyeliner lately since you get a nice pop of color but it’s still kind of subtle.

Kate Somerville DermalQuench Liquid Lift: This miracle anti-aging product is actually FUN to apply, aside from having great results.

Restorsea Repairing Hand Treatment: People always forget about their hands and, in fact, the hands are the first body part to show signs of aging.

Beautyblender: The Beautyblender is fab because it makes applying any and all liquid foundation a breeze AND you can actually build up your foundation using this tool, instead of just piling it on.

Clinique Even Better Makeup SPF 15: Clinique’s Even Better SPF 15 has been my favorite foundation for a few years now since it gives me just the RIGHT amount of coverage with out looking cakey.

L’OREAL PARIS Silky Sheer BB SPF 50: Whenever I feel like going makeup-less, this BB is my favorite. Aside from the SPF 50, you get a little tint that’s just enough to cover up any redness and imperfections.
